1/15/13 Board Meeting

The Board met at The Moat at 6pm.  Attending were Kevin H. Lonnie K,, Charles R., Bob R., Joe M. and Rich M.

The minutes of the Dec 17 meeting were accepted as submitted. Charles reported that he had completed the 990 submission and registered with Florida.

Action items:

• Lonnie and Kevin will jointly conduct the 2012 financial audit and report back to the board.
• Joe will assess the functional needs of the chapter website and report back to the board.
• Chuck will prepare a summary of historic expenses to assist in budget preparation.
• Joe and Kevin will prepare a draft operational budget for 2013.
• Bob will circulate a copy of the hard copy bylaws document he received from the previous chapter secretary.
• Kevin as music VP will recruit a quartet by audition/tryout to fulfill singing valentines on February 14.

The board will defer discussion of a possible annual show until the next meeting.  The board established the first Monday of the month for a regular monthly meeting.  Next meeting is February 4.
