The board convened at 6pm at the Moat restaurant. Attending were Kevin, Joe M., Charles, Rich and Bob. Director designee Matthew Boutwell joined us after the meeting began.
Charles shared financial summary and expense detail reports.
The 2013 draft budget is not prepared and will be tabled until next meeting.
Bob provided a short membership report.
There was a discussion with new Director Matthew about the proposed contract, and the mutual expectations for chorus development, leadership and growth.
The next guest night was established to be April 8, immediately following the first meeting of a barbershop co-ed youth chorus that Matthew B. is involved with.
The minutes of the 2/4/2013 meeting were approved as submitted.
There was a discussion of desirable website functionality and Groupanizer. For the near term, Joe M. volunteered to learn about google websites and take responsibility for managing the public site http://www.orlandobarbershopchorus.org/ , and Bob R. agreed to take responsibility for organizing and using the Facebook groups function for internal communications.
A motion was approved to pay the restaurant tab with chapter funds.
